1、苏格兰威士忌

原产苏格兰，用经过干燥，泥炭熏焙产生独特香味的大麦芽作酵造原料制成。其酿制经六道工序，即：将大麦浸水发芽、烘干、粉碎麦芽、入槽加水糖化、入桶加入酵母发酵、蒸馏两次、陈酿、混合。

起码要贮存8年以上，15年～20年为最优质的成品酒，超过20年的质量会下降风格，色泽棕黄带红，清澈透亮，气味焦香，带有浓烈的烟味。

2、美国威士忌

以玉米和其它谷物为原料，原产美国南部，用加入了麦类的玉米作酿造原料，经发酵，蒸馏后放入内侧熏焦的橡木酒桶中酿制4~8年。

4、加拿大威士忌
